When it comes to understanding that demons are real and can be attached to a human, our brains quickly try to make sense of this information. One of the quickest ways for us to wrap our brains around this fact is to believe that there are certain types of people who are affected. We feel a little less threatened when we consider that demons only mess with people who are looking for them or dabbling in demonic things. Well, the reality is this: everyone can be affected by demons, and many are affected by no fault of their own.

It is no secret that satan is no gentleman and couldn't care less about what is fair. He preys on the most vulnerable, like the youngest and the oldest in our society and those whose ancestors opened the door to him. He goes for the weak, disabled, and those most unprotected. This is why it is not uncommon to come in contact with those being influenced or tormented by demons. How many times have you sought out counseling to help you through a difficult season? One thing that is certain in this life is that there will be troubles, heartache, and even trauma. It does not take anything away from our relationship with Jesus to admit that we will all go through tough times. As women, we often have a difficult time calling ourselvesby the right name.
