Karunanidhi: Muthuvel Karunanidhi, popularly known as Kalaignar, was a prominent Indian politician and the leader of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), a political party in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. He served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu multiple times and was a key figure in Tamil Nadu politics for several decades. Karunanidhi was also a prolific writer, poet, and playwright.
