We love art... but we also love interesting local people. A member of Westmeath archaelogical and historical society and respected authority on all things military, appointed historical advisor for Columb Barracks to the land development agency, history and heritage advisor to Mullingar tidy towns, Jason McKevitt is a qualified history teacher working with LWETB and if that wasnt enough, he is also a local historian here in Mullingar.  

Tess McKevitt is a multi-published poet and lyricist from Mullingar who has been active on and off the stage. Tess has read and performed her poetry nationally at major festivals and sold out venues across Ireland and the UK. In addition to that, Tess has had four of her poems archived in the library at UCD
