Our new limited edition series from Self-Harm Network Scotland focuses on how self-harm affects men, in particular.
Episode 4 is all about Moving Forward. Our panel talk about what support for self-harm looks like, how men can access support, and what things individuals who self-harm can do to support themselves. They also discuss unhelpful responses to self-harm and provide helpful advice for anyone who is worried about someone who is self-harming.

They bring their own lived experience to support others who self-harm.
Also in the studio is Amy Chandler, a Professor of the Sociology of Health & Illness at University of Edinburgh.
Amy’s work primarily focuses on sociological research addressing self-harm and suicide.
