My audio might be a little funky because we're out here roughing it, shooting side-by-sides, and doing archery—but this message is too urgent to wait.We are in the absolute thick of a massive fatherhood crisis. Too many men are completely bankrupt spiritually, physically, and financially, forcing their sons to look to the world and worship online influencers just to find an identity. But I need you to understand: words don’t raise boys—our living examples do.Recently, I was at the grocery store and watched men leaning on their shopping carts, completely glued to their screens. Their wives were grabbing all the groceries while their kids wandered around unsupervised. It triggered me because if you are so checked out that you aren't scanning your environment, protecting your family, or showing up, you are leaving them vulnerable. In this episode, I am challenging you to stop outsourcing masculinity. Your son studies your discipline and watches your habits. He is slowly absorbing everything you embody. If you are living like a fat slob but telling him to get in shape, your words will never land. I am 50 years old, but I exercise every single day and stay disciplined in my finances so I can actively lead, protect, and ride side-by-sides with my boy. Stop being a weak, checked-out father. Too many men today are completely bankrupt spiritually, physically, and financially, and because we refuse to rise as examples, our sons are left searching for identity and role models from strangers.While sitting in a resort lobby, I witnessed a family where every single person—father, mother, and kids—was completely buried in their phone, ignoring each other in a beautiful environment where there was so much presence and real-world connection to experience. I refuse to let that be our reality. My son and I are fully present, laughing, and having fun. He knows that we work hard and we play hard—which is why we’ve spent this trip doing tactical weapons training, riding side-by-sides through rivers until we got soaked in mud, and visiting a petting zoo where we watched the mini goats run from the rain like it was a hurricane.What you repeatedly do gets ingrained in your subconscious, and if you are absent in discipline, your son will look to the world for his identity. Catch one lie a day and answer it instantly with the truth of who God says you are. Tell one trusted brother what you’ve been hiding and share one fear you actually faced this week. Reflect nightly and ask yourself: Am I standing on truth more than yesterday? You are not the fear in your head; you are who your Maker says you are. Your worth is your foundation, your truth is your armor, and your courage is your proof. It is God, family, and the protection of your ecosystem at all costs.
