More Truth Means More Accountability: Don't Treat His Blood Like Spilled Wine

Keep sinning willfully after you've received the knowledge of the truth, and there is no backup offering waiting to cover you — only "a certain fearful expectation of judgment" and a fire set to devour God's adversaries (Hebrews 10:26-27). Think about the weight of it: men died without mercy for rejecting Moses' law, so how much worse for the one who tramples the Son of God, counts His blood a common thing, and insults the Spirit of grace (Hebrews 10:28-29)? Don't read His silence as indifference — the same God who saves is the One who declared, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," and "The Lord will judge His people" (Hebrews 10:30). "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (Hebrews 10:31), so the only safe ground is under the very blood you were sanctified by — never trampling on it.
