概要
In this message, we tackle one of the most repeated phrases Christians say in hard seasons: “God will never give you more than you can handle.” It sounds encouraging—but when you’re overwhelmed, anxious, and barely holding it together, it can feel like a burden instead of comfort. Scripture shows something different: God never promised life would stay manageable. In fact, even Paul admitted he was “burdened beyond measure” (2 Corinthians 1), and God used that moment to shift his trust off himself and onto the God who raises the dead.
The hope isn’t that you’ll be strong enough—it’s that God’s grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12). This message calls us to stop living like we were meant to carry everything alone and start leaning into the kind of faith that says, “Lord, this is too much for me… but it’s not too much for You.” Life may give you more than you can handle, but it will never give you more than God can handle—and that changes everything.
