Matt Hughes is the Head Football Coach at West Branch High School in Iowa. A former Captain at the University of Iowa, Matt was an All Conference and Academic All American Linebacker at Iowa. After short stints in the NFL and Arena Football, Matt started his coaching career. He was an assistant that the University of South Dakota as well as the Head Coach at Clear Creek - Amana High School in Iowa before being hired at West Branch. Matt is the son of a long time football coach and has had the very rare opportunity to coach with his dad at both Clear Creek and now at West Branch. Matt exemplifies WHY High School coaches do what they do.

Coach Gary Bernardi is a retired FBS Football Coach with over 40 years of coaching experience. Having coached at Arizona, USC, UCLA, Colorado, San Jose State, UNLV, NAU and San Diego State, Coach Bernardi is one of the best to have ever coached. In his vast career, he has coached Tight Ends, Offensive Line and been a long time Special Teams Coordinator. Coach Bernardi shares his advice on culture, leadership and the importance of core values for assistant coaches. Coach Bernardi has two family members that are currently coaching, both at Western Kentucky University. His son, Joe Bernardi, is the Offensive Line coach and his son in law, Andy LaRussa, is the Assistant Head Coach/Safeties Coach and Special Teams Coordinator.

Calub Bueno is the Head Freshman Football Coach at Desert Vista High School in Arizona. At 24 years old, Calub is already changing lives and serving our young people. Coming from a coaching family, Calub played football at McClintock High School before graduating and getting right into coaching at the age of 19. Great insight about leadership, mentorship, developing character and getting young players ready to play Varsity Football.
