My name is Hasi and I work in tech. Most of the time I'm brought into meetings as a window dressing - so I don't get to talk as much as I'd like. This is my outlet for my 2 cents on topics such as life, money, society and self-development plus whatever else lies up in my head. Hopefully this doesn't get me cancelled in the process. • Learning, Earning Or Churning? Thinking About Your Career
    2026/08/05
When it comes to your career common wisdom is to 'make sure you are learning or earning in any job - ideally doing both'. In this episode I reflect on earning, learning and ultimately churning if you are doing neither by tracing through my own career thus far. Want to listen to more episodes? • The Output Illusion: Reflections On AI, Business, Work And The Economy
    2026/07/27
In this episode I reflect on how AI has changed the way I work from 2023 to the present (2026) and how it's changing software engineering, business expectations and the economy. Recounting my observations from utilising AI heavy workflows and developing AI features for organisations to fundamental factors such as context that have been severely underweighted amidst the hype around the technology. I leave this episode with a number of unanswered questions that I believe we as a society should address. Want to listen to more episodes? • Why Clean The Window You'll Never Look Out Of Again?
    2026/06/28
In this episode I ponder on the thoughts regarding a question I was asked that boiled down to why perform 'long-term' behaviours in a short term situation. This often comes from the frame of perspective that the 'other' is benefiting more, or simply at all, in any engagement where the individual will in the near future lose access. I lay out my thoughts that, within reason, there are hidden benefits that often go overlooked. Want to listen to more episodes?
