Join LI Yarn & Farm in Yaphank for its 13th Annual Holiday Open House this Sunday Dec 1 from 10-3pm and do something different,,,get your llama fill & chill. Join us for a day of fun on the farm. Instead of admission fee they are collecting gift cards for Camp Hope a bereavement camp for children who have lost immediate family members and loved ones. There will be demonstrations, self tour the farm, one day specials in the farm store, prizes and so much more. There is something for everyone.

We had great time hanging out with Trish Torrales and Meg Butterworth. Trish Torrales is a singer/songwriter from Long Island, NY and is not new to the local music scene. She has played all over NYC, Long Island and has appeared on shows such as American Idol and MTV. We don't want to say too much...but Adele went to see her play in Wantagh, NY and was completely blown away by her vocal/guitar style and with Meg's harmonies ...well that sealed the deal! AMAZING!!!

The Trans community is filled with diversity, beauty and people who are living in their truth. As per HRC there is an estimated 2 million transgender people in the United States alone. With all the beauty that our trans siblings bring to the community we cannot forget the discrimination, inequality, violence and stigma they face. That's why it important that we stand with them in these times and fight for equality with strength love and fortitude.
