Today on the podcast I’m talking with Neri Webster, who’s based in Australia. At her heaviest she was nearly 300 pounds (or 135 kilos) and her weight eventually forced her to leave her job. She had a newer bariatric procedure called the mini-gastric bypass and opens up about the challenges she faced both before and after surgery.
In this conversation we cover a lot of ground, including how she shifted her focus towards health instead of just weight loss, the struggles of long-term weight maintenance, and prepping for skin removal surgery. She also opens up about how she tragically lost her husband to addiction transfer after his own surgery
