Pressure. Stress. Commitments. Our world is moving fast, and we’re under pressure, coping with stress, and overloaded with commitments. We’re living with personal discord which is impacting our mental and physical well-being. Life has a way of hijacking us, and that’s where my personal journey of mindfulness began. Amid a medical diagnosis of ovarian cancer the consistent exercise of mindfulness transformed a dire diagnosis to an outcome of wellness, gratitude and purpose.Paul Lambert ノンフィクション犯罪 個人的成功 自己啓発

I really want to stress that you do NOT have to be number one all the time. All that God wants is for us to do our best. Sometimes that does result in us being the best – being recognized as a winner, but not always. When you are in school, volunteering, competing on a team – you need to do YOUR best! Put effort into anything you do and go for it. If you are a runner – don’t expect to run marathons immediately, but start where you are comfortable and keep going. When I do something – I really like being the best – I take great pride in being number one or the go to person…well there really is nothing wrong with that except sometimes my best is not going to win. I sometimes get defeated and discouraged when I am not the best at something. I struggle with exercise because I generally am not the best and more often times than not – I may be the worst. My form – well if that is what you can call it – is not perfect; my weights that I lift – haha really do you have to even ask – not very heavy; my stretches in yoga – that is if I don’t roll over in class unexpectedly – not so great. The key is to exercise is to do MY best. I have learned that I can’t compare myself to anyone. I have bad knees, heart issues, high blood pressure, blood issues…and the list goes on and on. I probably am not going to be a big winner in a race, or finish in the shortest time or lift the heaviest weights. I CAN go out there and every day lift more than I did before, I can stretch lower, and do more reps, longer times and just do what I can do! I haven’t felt the greatest lately and have had too much going on – I chaired relay for life, was in charge of 8th grade class picnic, and many other things and my work is tougher than ever with so many meetings and so much going on! I haven’t found time to go to the gym…so why haven’t I worked out at home? I could be doing push ups, burpees, sit ups…but no I didn’t. I know I am tired but funny thing is that when I actually do exercise – I have more energy than ever.
