Weather-wise, we're looking at showers developing later today with highs around 62 degrees and lows near 49. According to the National Weather Service Boise office, breezy to gusty conditions will continue through the weekend, but here's the exciting part: a very strong ridge of high pressure is building over the West next week. That means unseasonably warm temperatures are headed our way, with many locations expected to approach or break daily record highs. We could see temperatures reach 80 degrees or warmer across the Treasure Valley next week. Boise's earliest 80-degree day on record is March 19th, and this warm spell might just threaten that record.

According to The Allergy Group, Boise has been ranked number one on the 2026 Allergy Capitals list by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
