The UFC heads down to Houston for a top contender fight at middleweight and a notable Heavyweight Fight (but given recently roster moves I'm stuck asking if that matters) and a few good action fights.

The card is missing impact for a travel card but there isn't a bad fight on the card, though some annoying ones because you know me, I do get a migraine watching bad fight IQ.

Another Apex show is in the back window and honestly the aftermath is a bit more interesting than the card. The card was fun mind you, good action, some insightful fights but also some frustration. I don't cover the roster moves in the audio but Jailton Almedia and Javid Basharat seemed to no longer be on the UFC roster. Javid is particularly a weird cut.

Also I do mess up saying Yan when I mean Joshua Van. Yes I am aware they are different fighters and yes I can tell them apart.

The First Apex Excursion is upon us and the UFC has by Apex standards a really sold card. I do question the wisdom of using the Apex as the sight for their 3rd paramount card but we'll see.

Good main event with high action upside, some confusing booking for Kyoji Horiguchi and Rizvan Kuniev and there are a pair of dead fights in my opinion. But Mostly solid matchmaking.

A subdued recap today as UFC 325 while not bad lacked the spice that gets me jazzed. Probably because the main event was something I called from a mile away. However, Hooker/BSD was a lot of fun, Ruffy KOing Fiziev was cool and there was good action throughout the card with only 2 fights I have no real interest in watching again.
