Scarlet's story shows that God can redeem the deepest places of hurt in our lives through the warmth of His smile. Not everyone has been in foster care like Scarlet, but nearly all of us can relate to trying to earn the love and approval of God.

Scarlet is the founder of Feel the Smile, an organization "that exists to bridge the gap between wanting to know God and being equipped to walk with Him."

About a year into widowhood, Krisy was given a gift from someone she hardly knew at just the right time.
