After the burning down of Khaandav forest by Agni dev, Mayaasur was sitting with Arjun and Krishn feeling most obliged. He offered to do something for Arjun. But Arjun was hesitant in asking for a favour from someone whose life he had saved. So, Arjun asked Mayaasur to do whatever Krishn asked him to do. Krishn asked Mayaasur to build a sabhaa bhavan (convention centre) for King Yuddhishthir. Mayaasur was very happy to do so. He travelled to a far-off place north of Himalayas and got some key valuable construction materials from there. He also got a superb gadaa for Bhim and a special shankh (conch) for Arjun. Mayaasur constructed a massive and extremely beautiful sabha bhavan for Yuddhishthir in fourteen months. After completing the bhavan and handing it over to King Yuddhishthir, Mayaasur departed from Indraprasth. (Mahabharat/Sabhaaparv/Sabhaakriya Parv/Chapter 1-3).
