To say the Yankees had an underwhelming couple days leading up to the MLB trade deadline would be a massive understatement. While so many contenders made big moves to improve their teams, the Yankees made two trades that brought a couple of decent hitters to the Bronx.

Sal Maiorana and Mike Lindsley came in hot on this episode because neither was impressed by what Brian Cashman did. Hey, maybe Luis Garcia Jr. and Heliot Ramos will help, but to not have addressed several glaring holes in the lineup seemed almost criminal.
