Insomniac has continued revealing more about Logan’s story, including the game’s brutal combat, Jean Grey, the larger mutant world, locations including Madripoor, Canada and Japan, and Logan’s complicated history with Team X. The official prequel comic also explores Team X and its mission to protect mutantkind.

The game releases September 15 on PlayStation 5, so we’re getting dangerously close to finally seeing how all these pieces connect.

Could we actually see HULK VS. WOLVERINE?

That is one of the most iconic matchups in Wolverine history. Logan is exactly the type of mutant Magneto could potentially view as an ally: powerful, angry, persecuted, and someone who has experienced firsthand what humanity is capable of doing to mutants.

And what if all of this is secretly building toward something even bigger?

The X-Men.

We already know Jean Grey plays a major role in the game, and Insomniac is clearly building out a larger mutant corner of its Marvel universe.
