  • Saved By Grace, Known By Works
    2026/07/04

Are Christians saved by works or by faith? And if it’s all grace, why does the Bible say “faith without works is dead”?In this episode of MannCave Unfiltered, we open the King James Bible and look at what “works” actually are in the life of a Bible‑believing Christian. Not to earn salvation, but as the evidence of a living, active faith.Key KJV Scriptures:– Ephesians 2:8–10 – Saved by grace through faith… created unto good works.– Titus 3:5, 8 – Not by works of righteousness… yet believers must be careful to maintain good works.– James 2:14–26 – Faith without works is dead; “I will shew thee my faith by my works.”– James 1:22 – Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.– Hebrews 10:24 – Provoke unto love and to good works.– 1 Corinthians 15:58 – Always abounding in the work of the Lord.– Matthew 7:21–23 – Many will point to their “many wonderful works,” but Christ says, “I never knew you.”This episode is for every Bible‑believing Christian who wants to get out of the ditches – burned‑out performance on one side, lazy passivity on the other – and walk in a faith that actually does something.7‑Day “Faith That Works” Challenge:1️⃣ Pick one relationship.2️⃣ Pick one area (home, church, or work).3️⃣ For 7 days, do one concrete act of obedience or service each day in that space. Not to earn God’s love, but because you already have it in Christ.—ABOUT MANNCAVE UNFILTEREDMannCave Unfiltered is a Christian podcast for Bible‑believing men and women who want biblical truth, real conversations, and no prosperity gospel. • Comparing yourTraditions to BiblicalTeachings
    2026/06/20

In this episode of MannCave Unfiltered, we’re putting your traditions under the light of Scripture.Jesus said, “For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men… Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” (Mark 7:8–9 KJV)A lot of what Christian men call “biblical conviction” is actually just inherited tradition. Church culture, family patterns, “man code” rules, gym habits – they all shape us. But do they line up with the Word of God?In Episode 35 – “Measuring Every Tradition By Truth” (KJV), I walk you through a simple 3‑bucket framework:1️⃣ Commanded – What has God clearly told us to do?– Gathering with believers (Hebrews 10:25 KJV)– Husbands loving their wives sacrificially (Ephesians 5:25 KJV)– Fathers raising their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4 KJV)2️⃣ Contradicted – What traditions clearly go against Scripture?– “Real men don’t show weakness” vs. “Confess your faults one to another…” (James 5:16 KJV)– “I carry my own weight” vs. “Bear ye one another’s burdens…” (Galatians 6:2 KJV)– Career, comfort, or culture taking the place God gave to your home and your walk with Christ.3️⃣ Not Mentioned (Helpful Or Harmful)– Service times, music styles, dress codes, holiday routines, weekend rhythms, gym life…– The Bible doesn’t name all of them, but they still disciple your heart. Are they tools or traps? Then we finish with a 7‑Day “Tradition Audit” Challenge so you can:– Identify your biggest traditions– Test them by the King James Bible– Decide what to kill, what to keep, and what to changeThis episode is for the man who’s tired of baptizing his preferences and ready to submit his whole life to the authority of Scripture.SCRIPTURES (KJV)– Mark 7:8–9 – Tradition vs the commandment of God– Hebrews 10:25 – Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves– Ephesians 5:25 – Husbands, love your wives– Ephesians 6:4 – Ye fathers, provoke not your children…– James 5:16 – Confess your faults one to another– Galatians 6:2 – Bear ye one another’s burdens—ABOUT MANNCAVE UNFILTEREDMannCave Unfiltered is a Christian men’s podcast for biblical masculinity, leadership, marriage, fatherhood, faith, culture, and fitness – no prosperity gospel, no fluff, just real talk and Scripture.SUBSCRIBE for weekly episodes: faith, culture, fitness, and real conversations for men who want to follow Christ with their whole lives.Drop a comment:👉 What’s ONE tradition you realized was not actually biblical once you opened the Bible?
