The Podcast: The Outdated Wrestling Hour With Bob Smith podcast – now in its fourth year – offers veteran fans (as well as curious younger ones) a chance to reminisce about classic mat action from years gone by. The show is hosted by Bob Smith, the former managing editor of Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine who also enjoyed a long history with other famous titles. Co-host Joe Puccio (GenerationXWire.com) offers a younger perspective on old wrestling before the duo ushers in guests from throughout the professional mat landscape.
The Topic: In the aftermath of WrestleMania 2026 – which was in turns absolutely thrilling and vastly disappointing – we’ve called all hands on deck for another special episode. To lead things off, Smith and Puccio look back at their picks to win the two-day extravaganza’s matches, and offer their views on the PLE.
