概要
Welcome to Day 29 of Word for Word: The Bible.
In this episode, we continue through the book of Leviticus by reading chapters 4–6 word for word from the New International Version (NIV). As God dwells among His people in the tabernacle, He provides clear instruction for how sin, guilt, and wrongdoing are to be addressed—both before Him and within the community.
Today’s reading includes:
- The sin offering, addressing unintentional sin and the need for atonement
- The guilt offering, emphasizing accountability and restitution
- God’s instructions for confession, responsibility, and restoration
- The ongoing duties of the priests in maintaining the altar and offerings
These chapters make clear that failure is not ignored, but neither is it final. God provides a path for forgiveness that involves honesty, responsibility, and a willingness to be made right. Living near a holy God requires attentiveness, humility, and action that reflects repentance and renewal.
Each episode of Word for Word: The Bible includes:
- A brief opening prayer for understanding
- A complete Scripture reading from the Bible
- A short closing reflection and prayer
