  • Awareness: The Pandemic of Human Trafficking With Sarolyn Morgan

    On this episode of Make the Connection - To End Human Trafficking, we welcome Sarolyn Morgan who is the Victim Assistance Specialist with the Department of Homeland Security.

    Sarolyn shares her knowledge and experience and discusses the various locations where human trafficking can occur, such as in hotels, motels, nail and hair salons, agriculture, city streets, schools, churches, and foster placements. Sarolyn also emphasizes the severity and trauma experienced by victims and provides numerous indicators to recognize possible victims of trafficking. She also stresses the importance of educating children, parents, and educators about cybersecurity and the risks of human trafficking.

    Sarolyn also discusses ways that everyone can help to combat human trafficking, including volunteering, donating, and using resources to call if you suspect anything is suspicious.
