著者:
Abhinavagupta was a monumental Kashmiri polymath who flourished between the tenth and eleventh centuries as a premier philosopher, mystic, and aesthetician. Known as the systematic architect of Kashmir Shaivism, he authored over thirty-five works, including the encyclopedic Tantrāloka and influential commentaries on the philosophy of art. His spiritual teachings emphasized that the universe is an expression of pure consciousness, reachable through the direct recognition of one’s own divine nature. Born into a scholarly family and guided by numerous masters, he integrated diverse schools of thought into a coherent monistic system. Legend maintains that his life concluded with a mystical disappearance into a cave alongside twelve hundred disciples. Today, he remains celebrated as a brilliant saint whose intellectual and spiritual contributions profoundly shaped Indian cultural and theological history.
