    Such a Time as This

    kingdomgraceacademy@gmail.com

This week, hosts Pascal and Alyssa sit down with Roseanna Gonzalez — administrator, teacher, minister, life coach, and hospice chaplain — whose path to this moment ran straight through the hardest chapters a person can carry. Out of them came Kingdom Grace Academy.

Roseanna doesn’t flinch from her story: a childhood marked by trauma, a season lost to depression and survived suicide attempts, and the hospital moment of clarity that turned into a ministry called It’s a Beautiful Life. What the enemy meant to end, God repurposed into a life spent helping others see the beauty in their own.

That same thread leads to Kingdom Grace Academy — a pre-K through 12th grade, Christ-centered school twelve years in the making. Built on discipleship and servant leadership, KGA opens with three intimate classrooms of up to ten students each, designed to serve kids the traditional system too often leaves behind: children with special needs, those from foster care, and families looking for a place to belong. Roseanna shares how the location, the certifications, the partnership with United Christian Fellowship — the pieces she spent over a decade waiting on — finally arrived together. Not early. Not late. For such a time as this.

A conversation about obedience, timing, and the God who was building the whole time you couldn’t see the plan.

Kingdom Grace Academy is now in open enrollment and looking for volunteers and supporters. Reach out to Roseanna to learn how to be part of it.

  • Untold Stories of the Bible
    2026/05/08

In this heartfelt episode of Made For Christ, the hosts sit down with Daisy for a deeply personal conversation about faith and what it truly means to have a relationship with Christ.

Daisy shares her testimony of growing up in a conservative Christian environment, accepting Christ at a young age, and later wrestling with legalism and performance-based faith. She candidly describes how her understanding of Christianity transformed from merely following rules into cultivating a genuine, personal relationship with God through prayer, Scripture, community, and surrender.

The hosts explore how spiritual maturity is not defined by years spent in church, but by intimacy with Christ. They discuss the dangers of checking religious boxes while missing the heart of God, and how intentional daily connection with Him changes everything.

The episode closes with encouragement for listeners to pursue authentic relationships over religious performance, to stay intentional in their walk with God, and to recognize the eternal impact of faithful friendships and mentorships. Daisy also shares about her podcast, Untold Stories of the Bible, where she dives into lesser-known passages of Scripture to help listeners discover the depth, wonder, and consistency of God’s story throughout the Bible.

  • Guilty: Jeff's Second Chance
    2026/04/27

    https://bridgeprisonministryaz.org/

In this powerful and deeply personal episode of Made For Christ, Jeff shares the remarkable story of redemption that emerged from the darkest chapters of his life. After spending 10,021 days in prison for a murder committed during his years as a drug dealer, Jeff reflects on how one reckless decision changed everything. What began as a sentence of punishment became an unexpected journey of transformation.

Jeff recounts growing up in Arizona, chasing danger, money, and status through drugs and crime, until it all collapsed. Sentenced to 25 years to life, he entered prison facing hopelessness, violence, and uncertainty. But a simple request from his grandmother changed the course of his life: read one chapter of the Bible every day. What started as an obligation became the steady rhythm God used to rebuild his soul.

Inside prison walls, Jeff found purpose through faith, education, and service. He taught inmates to read, helped men earn their GEDs, completed two associate degrees, earned five patents, and even co-founded a tech company from behind bars. Most importantly, he learned to trust Christ in impossible situations, including loving dangerous cellmates and witnessing hardened hearts transformed by the gospel.

After nearly three decades, Jeff was finally released through a process marked by forgiveness, mediation, and grace. Today, he is rebuilding life, launching a new business, mentoring others, and helping lead a podcast focused on prison ministry and second chances.

His testimony is clear: Jesus still changes lives, no matter how broken the past may seem.

  • The Cell That Set Me Free
    2026/02/24

In this powerful episode of Made for Christ, Jose shares his testimony—from a childhood marked by family dysfunction, his mother’s deportation and cancer diagnosis, and years spent in group homes, to a life of drugs, crime, and eventually prison.

In his youth, Jose chased money, status, and acceptance, only to find himself empty and broken. After crying out to God in desperation, he was arrested—an answered prayer that became the turning point of his life. In a jail cell, a fellow inmate challenged him with Scripture and introduced him to the “armor of God,” awakening deep conviction and leading Jose to fully surrender his life to Christ.

What followed was a radical transformation. In prison, Jose developed a genuine relationship with Jesus, experienced the power of the Holy Spirit, and began sharing the gospel with others.

Jose’s message is simple and bold: true freedom begins with humility, repentance, and surrender to Christ. His story is a testament to God’s mercy, restoration, and the life-changing power of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Suffering the loss of a child...
    2026/02/05

In this episode of Made for Christ, Pascal and Alyssa sit down with Tucson small-business owner Adan to hear a powerful story of faith, grief, healing, and purpose.

Adan shares his journey from growing up in the restaurant industry to building a successful catering business that once served 9,500 meals a day across Arizona. But behind the success came burnout, depression, and the unimaginable loss of his five-year-old daughter—just months after he and his family accepted Christ.

In this deeply honest conversation, Adan opens up about wrestling with God through anger and heartbreak, learning to grieve as a husband and father, and finding healing through a personal connection to God’s own experience of loss. He speaks candidly about mental health, cultural expectations around masculinity, the importance of community, and why men must learn to ask for help.

Now stepping into a new season, Adan shares his passion for helping men build healthy businesses that create space for life, faith, and healing—so they’re not forced to choose between grief and responsibility when hardship comes.

This episode is a moving reminder that even in life’s darkest moments, God is present, healing takes time, and no one is meant to walk through pain alone.

  • From Prison to Peace: Eddie’s story of Redemption
    2025/12/08

In this episode of Made for Christ, Pascal and Alyssa sit down with Eddie, who found an unexpected spark of hope in a place of darkness—the Pima County Jail.

Raised in a Christian home, Eddie accepted Christ at six years old, but by his early teens, he chose a path far from God—drawn into drugs, crime, and eventually years inside the Arizona prison system. His testimony unfolds with raw honesty: addiction, shame, violence, near-death overdoses, and moments when hope seemed impossible.

Yet through every chapter, God was quietly, faithfully chasing him. Eddie recounts how the Lord used small, divine interruptions to break through his darkness and call him home.

While serving a final prison sentence, Eddie opened a Bible and read it cover to cover. There, the seed planted in his childhood sprang back to life. He encountered the transforming power of Jesus and was baptised at 37. Today, he’s living free, sober, and rooted in faith, helping men rebuild their lives with Christ at the center.

Eddie’s message is simple and profound: Submit to God when He calls. Don’t ignore His voice. His grace is sufficient.
