After losing her baby, Eilir, to miscarriage earlier this year, Catherine opens up her heart to create a safe space for other moms who are also struggling in the after + in the waiting.

For the first time, Clare boldly shares her full testimony of sexual trauma + how it led her to search for healing in all the wrong places within the occult world, leading her to witchcraft + nearly to her death.

It wasn’t until she found herself at rock bottom, nearly escaping death, that she ran to the One true Healer, God!

Clare speaks on soo many topics that we as survivors of sexual abuse can relate to- the choices we make, the need for control, + the searching, etc… It doesn’t matter how much healing I’ve done as a survivor, hearing other women share the same struggles helps me find even more healing, knowing I am not the only one + the reminder that there’s nothing wrong with me. Or you, friend. We were doing our best to be ok, in the only way our nervous system knew how until we finally stopped running + let God truly heal us.

And today + everyday, we have the honor of celebrating the new creation that Clare is in the mighty + loving name of Jesus! We get to celebrate with her as she continues to walk in healing + freedom as she shares her full testimony for the first time!!! What a testament to who our King Jesus is + ALL He can do!!!

Meet with Catherine + Kelly, Founder of @the.remain.co , as they meet at the well to speak openly + vulnerably about divorce + the shame that can come with it.

Kelly shares her testimony on how God graciously met her in the middle of her broken marriage + has used her story to bring Him glory + draw her closer to Him.

We pray this episode meets you where you are + you feel less alone + less full of shame as we meet with you at the well. We pray this ignites hope + restoration in marriages that aren’t abusive or repetitively impure, + we pray it comforts those who have endured either. We also pray that it brings healing + comfort to anyone whose story is “simply” divorce, because the truth is, God still + has always loved you.

Like the Samaritan woman at the well, God sees you as you are, knows every part of your story, + still chooses you. He isn’t afraid to be seen with you. He isn’t afraid to talk with you. He sent Jesus for you. For me. For us.

So we could find healing despite our sin or the sins of others. But we have to choose Him to find that healing + grace. We have to be willing to + ready to become less like ourselves + more like Him - to face our failures + weaknesses head on. To face our pain + deepest struggles.

God can, 100%, heal + restore even the most broken marriage. He can restore trust when trust has been broken. He can take away abuse + anger. He can heal. But you have to choose Him. You have to be willing to tell Jesus the truth when He asks you who you are.

What an honor it has been to connect with Chi + to now call her a friend. I stand in awe of God as her testimony is being shared more + more! God’s light extinguishes the darkness + I praise Him for the light that shines from you, Chi 🙌

This is why MMATW exists- so you don’t have to feel alone like we did. So you don’t have to feel like your trauma + sin are your identity. So you don’t have to believe the lies the enemy tells you about your worth or cleanliness or purpose. MMATW is a gathering place for the broken, the lost, + the healing so we can all lift one another up + drink from the ONLY source that will break chains, extinguish the darkness, + give us an identity!!
