MD67 is a series of conversations with a group of doctors - most in their eighties - about the health system sickness they see and the cures they believe in. Many graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1967 - hence the title of the series - and in these conversations we'll cover the evolution of medicine's science, technology, and business. These stories are borne of a pre-internet, pre-cell phone, pre-CAT scan, pre-MRI, pre-microwave-oven, era. They're the healthcare version of the slow food movement. Imagine a doctor's appointment that's unhurried, and where being seen, heard, and understood is the goal. This is about putting patients - not profits - first. MD67 wants patients and young healthcare professionals to know that neither are getting what they deserve, and that both can have better. The MD67 Podcast is a joint production of the Doctors Initiative for Healthcare Reform, and Moral Injury of Healthcare, a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating health worker distress through the lens of moral injury. The series is hosted by Wendy Dean, MD and produced by Jill Ruby. MD67 launches July 1, 2026.
