The Bestiez needed a couple of weeks to record this episode. Silver Fox (Meghan's mom Cheryl) comes to town and helps her finalize bathroom renovation details. She also gets to visit a Costco and Trader Joe's for the first time!!

Among other things, the Bestiez struggle with keeping their wits about them as the start of 2025 is rough to say the least. We still find a way to laugh our way through another chat including current events . We get inspired by Kyley climbing a plateau that had been on her bucket list for a considerable time. We start to discuss plans for our first ever Galentine's Weekend together and dive into what we think are our "best years".

Happy New Year - or is it? With all that's going on, we remember why therapy should be a requirement for everyone. We aren't too ashamed to admit we are intrigued by some conspiracy theories especially when talking about the California Wildfires. That lead us into a trip down memory lane as 3 out of 4 of us have been through at least 1 house fire. It's not all doom and gloom though as we laugh our way through the rest of the episode. Have you ever tried the Snoop Dog fried bologna sandwich? We also discuss the most influential teachers in our lives.

Plucking chin hair is self care and we stand by that. Is it true that some women DON'T get chin hair?? Kyley explores cannibutter and tells us all about it. We learn who Luigi Mangione is, on the surface. Are they REALLY going to ban Tik Tok? Before we do that, let's meet the 17 diapers lady. And last but not least, we try to pull up fond memories from childhood and we think we did a pretty darn good job.

We start off rough with Meghan thinking April is drinking her microphone (yes you read that right). But don't worry, we get our shit together and realize that we need to add a Documentary segment since we watch so many and discuss them often. Do you remember Lisa Frank? We finish strong pulling another card from the Life Story Interview deck of cards, and share a little bit about our siblings.

Crystal lost episode 6?!?! Cookie Grandma made her way to town and everyone survived Thanksgiving. It wouldn't be us if there wasn't some sort of drama surrounding the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade though! Maybe next year we should just stick to the Puppy Bowl or football?

The last episode before we get mics! We are prepping for the holidays and learning more about each others childhoods. Tune in as we learn that Meghan spent a lot of time playing with knives when she was little and watch how it doesn't even phase her.

This week takes a turn as we open Pandora's box by crossing into our "off limits" topic: Politics. We can't help ourselves, it IS the week of the Presidential Election of 2024 after all.
