In small-town England, determined young Velvet Brown dreams of entering her remarkable horse in the Grand National. Elizabeth Taylor, Mickey Rooney, and Donald Crisp reprise their film roles in this warm drama of ambition, courage, and a former jockey’s renewed sense of purpose.
