Elmer The Great -- Dung an intermission interview, Lou Gehrig predicts that the Yankees will win the World Series + Baseball story about a guy called Elmer Kane and his boss at the grocery store, Nelly Poole, who employs Elmer as a delivery driver. It begins in the Kane house in Gentryville Indiana, where Elmer’s brother can’t understand why his brother won’t sign for the New York Giants. Even Nelly thinks he shouldn’t pass up the opportunity. But what she doesn’t know is that Elmer is crazy about her and doesn’t want to go away ands leave her.
1:00:35 ... The Curtain Rises -- A shy woman decides to take acting lessons in order to play love scenes with her instructor. Ginger plays the part of Elsa Carling and Warren Williams is Ronald Phillips The play opens at a gay party which is taking place at Carol Stewarts New York penthouse. Everyone appears to be having a great time, everyone, that is, except Elsa Carling who is in the foyer putting her coat on. There is the suggestion of a tear in her eye and she is approached by the hostess who insists she mustn't leave. But Elsa is just as insistent that she should. As the door closes behind her the men are heard to comment. She’s too prim and proper and she ought to get rid of those spectacles.
