Lukewarmness is a state of spiritual apathy, indifference, or half-heartedness in faith, described in the Bible (Revelation 3:16) as being neither "hot nor cold". It signifies a lack of passion or conviction, leading to complacent, mediocre service to God. It is considered dangerous, requiring repentance and renewed zeal to overcome.
