On Saturday 24th January 2026 we attended an event called 'A Modern Day Pursuit of Love, Meaning & Happiness' at Asylum Chapel. It was a collaboration between Elliot Bewick (The Next Generation) and Discourse Collective, featuring guest speakers including Joe Folley (Unsolicited Advice) and Jonny Thomson (Philosophy Minis).

In this conversation, we reflect on what was said on the night. We consider the battle between Epicureanism and Stoicism and how Paul responds to both of those philosophies in Acts 17. Featuring Glen Scrivener, Thomas Thorogood and for the first time on The Speak Life Podcast, Naomi Brehm!
