概要
In this episode of UnqualifiedPk, we talk about one of the most overused — and misunderstood — words in Christianity: love.
Most of us grew up believing love was a feeling.
Something emotional.
Something warm.
Something that comes naturally when circumstances are good.
But when we slow down and look at Scripture, we start to realize:
biblical love doesn’t look anything like the version we’ve been taught.
This conversation unpacks why:
love isn’t primarily emotional
love isn’t about comfort
love often costs something
love is proven through sacrifice, not words
We talk honestly about:
why love and suffering are often connected
how love can exist even when feelings disappear
why staying can be an act of love
how misunderstanding love has shaped our marriage
why love is often quiet, unseen, and uncelebrated
and why Jesus defines love through action, not emotion
Using Scripture and our own story, we wrestle with what it actually means to love — not in theory, not in a sermon, but in real life, when relationships are strained, seasons are heavy, and obedience feels costly.
If you’ve ever thought:
“Why does love feel so hard?”
or
“Why doesn’t love feel the way I expected it to?”
…this episode is for you.

We’re not experts.
We’re not polished.
We’re just trying to love the way Christ loves — and figure it out as we go.
