概要
Starting today, Thursday, if you're into design and innovation, head down to BrainStation London this evening for Design Evenings LDN, a discussion on Building the Future of AI-First Design running from six to eight PM. It's a great way to network and explore cutting-edge creative thinking.
Moving into Friday night, music lovers should catch Tommy Emmanuel at Cadogan Hall tomorrow evening. The acclaimed guitarist is performing January 23rd and 24th, so don't miss out on that world-class performance.
The weekend is absolutely packed. If you're after something family-friendly and free, Winter Lights at Canary Wharf is your final chance to catch the illuminations trail, running until ten PM on Saturday evening. Features like Sol, a collection of glowing planet-like orbs, and Amplitudes, which projects trippy colours onto water spray, make it worth the trip. Just arrive early to beat the crowds.
Saturday also brings Fresh Art Fair to Alexandra Palace, where over seventy galleries showcase contemporary art from rising stars and world-renowned artists. There's live artist demonstrations and workshops running from January 30th through February 1st. Food and drinks are available too.
For something completely different, check out Bankside's Frost Fair next to the Thames on Saturday. It's inspired by the historic days when the Thames froze over, offering outdoor games, family-friendly craft sessions, live performances, and free folk music sessions at neighbouring pubs from seven PM onwards.
Theatre enthusiasts should catch The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry at Theatre Royal Haymarket starting Friday. This joyous musical adaptation tells the story of a man who walked out the door and never stopped walking, running through April 18th.
Saturday night brings Jason Derulo to The O2 on January 31st, so if you're after big pop energy, that's your ticket. All Time Low also performed at The O2 on January 24th if you missed them.
Sunday kicks off with the West London Flea at Wembley Stadium, where two hundred traders bring products from across the UK and Europe. There's also the Vintage Fair at Chelsea Old Town Hall with sixty exhibitors selling everything from Victorian-era clothing to British designer labels like Ossie Clark and Biba.
