The Member of Parliament for South West Norfolk officially became the Prime Minister on the 6th October 2022 after defeating Rishi Sunak in the Conservative party leadership race.

Liz Truss was succeeded by Rishi Sunak after he became the new leader of the Conservative Party on the 25th October 2022 .
