 Once we have encountered Jesus on the cross, we can never be the same again. Pastor Bawa describes the character of our life in the risen Jesus, with its immense blessings and also the challenge of living in a world which seeks to impress upon us its own values, at odds with those of Jesus and his kingdom. From Paul's writings we see the blessings of being free from condemnation and living with the security of being children of God. We read, with Pastor Bawa, the description of our resurrection life from Romans chapter 8 and are invited to respond to the following questions: What do we say in response to this? How do we live out our new life, our new identity, lived out in the the new community of the people of God? How do we live this out in the face both of life's challenges and its successes? If God is for us, who can be against us? Pastor Bawa shares what it means to be more than conquerors - "more than" because the battle that gives us the power to conquer has been won without us fighting it - won by Jesus.How will he not graciously give us all things?
