    Co-parenting isn't one-size-fits-all.

In this episode, we open up about our own journey and we use our experiences to talk about some of the realities many families face every day.

We discuss what it means to truly be present, the financial responsibilities that come with raising children, and why communication can either strengthen or complicate a co-parenting relationship.

This isn't an episode where we claim to have all the answers. It's simply an honest conversation about what we're walking through and the lessons we're learning along the way.

Some parts of this conversation may hit a nerve—especially for parents who have chosen to be less present in their children's lives. The truth isn't always comfortable, but sometimes the conversations that make us uncomfortable are the ones we need most.

If you've ever found yourself trying to do what's best for your kids while navigating a difficult co-parenting situation, we hope this episode reminds you that you're not alone.

  • Remembering Abel...
    2026/07/02

Episode 5 – In Loving Memory of Abel Juan Guzman Jr.

    October 31, 1995 – July 2, 2024

This episode is one of the most personal conversations we've ever shared.

Today marks two years since Abel's passing, and we wanted to honor his life the best way we know how—by sharing his story.

In this episode, Sam opens her heart about what it was like walking alongside her brother, Abel, during his battle with blood cancer while also trying to navigate life as a wife, a mother, and a caregiver. We talk about the emotional weight of balancing family, faith, grief, and everyday responsibilities when someone you love is fighting for their life.

We also take time to celebrate Abel for who he was—not just as a brother, but as an uncle, a son, a friend, and someone whose life left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Through laughter, tears, memories, and reflection, we honor the man he was and the legacy he leaves behind.

This isn't just an episode about loss. It's about love, resilience, faith, family, and learning how to keep moving forward while carrying someone you'll never stop missing. Whether you've experienced the loss of a loved one or are walking alongside someone who has, we hope this conversation reminds you that you're not alone.

This episode is dedicated to the loving memory of Abel Juan Guzman Jr.

Behind the words "I'm fine" is a battle that many people fight in silence.

In this episode, Chris and Sam have an honest conversation about mental health, anxiety, depression, emotional struggles, spiritual warfare, and even suicide. We talk about what it's like to smile on the outside while hurting on the inside, why so many people feel alone, and why asking for help is never a sign of weakness.

This isn't a conversation pretending to have all the answers. It's two people sharing real life, real faith, and the reminder that hope still exists—even when you can't see it.

If you've ever felt like you're barely holding it together, this episode is for you. You're not alone, and your story isn't over.
