  • I Am Somebody's Keith Davies & Frank M. Calo Discuss New TV Series
    2025/07/04

Hi Dreamers! We're thrilled to receive your messages and fan mail here at the Live Your Dreams Podcast, and we can't wait to hear from you!

We’re honored to welcome Keith Davies, a man who’s lived a hundred lives in one. From the jungles of Vietnam to the gritty stage of CBGB’s. From working with rock giants like The Rolling Stones and The Who, to shaking up a quiet Northern California town with music, culture, and unapologetic rebellion. After inheriting a building from his grandmother, Keith opened a venue in a conservative town that wanted nothing to do with long-haired hippies, Mexicans, or anyone who looked different. But Keith wasn’t having it.

He broke the mold, booking acts like Supertramp and other major bands — shaking the town to its core and even getting arrested for “lewd conduct” just for trying to bring world-class music to a closed-minded place.

Now, his incredible life is being brought to the screen in a new limited series titled I AM SOMEBODY — developed by Frank M. Calo of FMC Productions — and that’s exactly what this story is about. Standing your ground, owning your truth, and proving that no matter where you’re from, you are somebody.

FRANK CALO is an award-winning Producer, Director, and Writer with over three decades of experience across Theater, Film, Reality TV, Episodics, and Documentaries. Known for his versatility and vision, Frank’s film The Believer, starring Ryan Gosling, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 2001. Throughout his storied career, he has worked with iconic talents such as Robert De Niro, Madonna, Demi Moore, Mike Myers, Shelly Winters, Marlon Brando, Queen Latifah, Danny Glover, and many more. Early in his career, Frank was one of only six directors personally mentored by the legendary Elia Kazan. Today, he continues to pay that mentorship forward most notably by guiding and mentoring Joe Gawalis, host of the internationally recognized Live Your Dreams Show.

  • Behind the Marc Maron Documentary: Julie Seabaugh on Are We Good? at Tribeca
    2025/06/16

Hi Dreamers! We're thrilled to receive your messages and fan mail here at the Live Your Dreams Podcast, and we can't wait to hear from you!

On this episode of the Live Your Dreams Podcast, we're joined by an incredible storyteller who has spent over two decades documenting the world of comedy — journalist, author, and now documentarian Julie Seabaugh. Julie is the producer, story editor, and creative force behind Are We Good?, the powerful new documentary about legendary comic and podcast pioneer Marc Maron, making its East Coast premiere at the Tribeca Festival June 14th and 15th.

Having covered Maron extensively throughout her journalism career, Julie was deeply moved by his raw vulnerability following the tragic loss of his partner Lynn Shelton. When she saw his honest and emotional Instagram posts, she knew something special was unfolding — and that someone needed to chronicle this chapter of his life. That someone turned out to be her.

From the very first shoot at The Comedy Store in May 2021 — Marc’s first time back on stage post-pandemic — to capturing the evolution of his most personal stand-up work yet, Julie's journey from reporter to documentarian is as compelling as the film itself.
