  • 436. 4 Things I Wish I Knew When I Began Homeschooling
    2026/02/05

Wouldn't it be so nice to sit down across from each other at a cute coffee shop and chat all things homeschool? And I would promise to answer all of your questions, including the one where you want to know what I wish that I knew when I began.

Until we can meet in person, how about you grab a cup of your favorite hot cocoa, tea, or coffee and pop your earbuds in? I've already admitted to my fair share of homeschool mistakes on the podcast and I am not ashamed of these 4 things that I will share with you today.

The goal? Well, it's for you to glean a little from what I would do differently. Take what will work for you and leave behind the rest!

  • 435. Beating The Homeschool Burnout That Is Common This Time Of The Year
    2026/02/02

The question is not if you will ever feel burned out as a homeschool mom, it's when. And this time of the year tends to be a common time for moms to feel like this.

There are a few factors that contribute to burnout and the key to overcoming it, so you can stay in the game with homeschool, is to recognize the signs, get to the root cause, and create a reasonable solution.

Burnout should not lead to shame. Rather, it should bring us to our knees so that you can surrender the day and your homeschool to Jesus. All is not lost. What if He has a greater plan for you that is on the other side of the burnout feeling?

Let's be honest with one another, pray more, and lean in through this process...together.

  • 433. Creating and Sticking With A Homeschool Budget
    2026/01/26

It's not usually fun to talk about money and budget, but peace in homeschooling can come from operating within our means. The amount of money spent on homeschooling does not determine success or failure. However, it does help homeschool moms make some important decisions.

I promise this episode won't hurt and we'll cover it all from why, how, and a little of my personal experience with setting a budget and sticking with it.

Grab a pen and paper and let's have a little chat!
