In this podcast, you will be welcomed into a community of Ordinarily Beautiful People. A community of people who uplift, inspire and motivate one another to do more, be more and try harder in life. Life lessons in this podcast are shared from the unpublished, retro-historical memoir, written by the host Kim Farnes, Life Lessons of an Ordinary Woman.
In this episode, you will hear about the Sunflower Theory. How sunflowers lean on the support of other sunflowers during dark times; and how that is symbolic of our individual need for similar support.
You will listen in on how the host learned the difference between doing things FOR someone, doing things WITH them and when and how to CHEER others on, as they learn new things.
You will learn about a study conducted by the University of Washington in the 1970's on stroke patients. A study to try and determine how sign language could impact and help improve a stroke survivor's ability to communicate.
