  • Sunday Service: The Psalms of Ascent (I Will Lift My Eyes) - Pastor Brian Wills
    2026/03/01

Psalm 123 speaks to those overwhelming moments when we feel like we've reached our breaking point. This Psalm of Ascent was sung by ancient pilgrims facing grueling journeys to Jerusalem, and it offers timeless wisdom for modern struggles. When life feels too much to bear, the world offers temporary solutions like accumulation, distraction, and isolation. However, the psalm calls us to lift our eyes to God, who is both powerfully enthroned in heaven and intimately merciful. Rather than viewing God as a police officer looking for violations, we can see Him as a potter who gets His hands dirty to transform us. Following Jesus doesn't promise an easy path, but it offers hope that transformation happens precisely in the midst of life's messy, difficult circumstances.

  • Sunday Service: Psalms of Ascent (Anticipation to Arrival) - Pastor Jeff Young
    2026/02/22

Psalm 122 reveals the joy we should feel about gathering with God's people, challenging us to move from a 'have to' mentality to a 'get to' mentality about worship. Casual Christianity prevents spiritual growth and keeps us from the mountains God calls us to climb. We need fellow believers as companions on our faith journey, just as the Israelites traveled to Jerusalem together. Regular worship serves multiple purposes: giving glory to God, practicing obedience, guarding against spiritual drift, being formed into Christ's image, and strengthening our faith through God's Word. When believers are truly united, we become impenetrable to enemy attacks and naturally seek peace and blessing for others.

  • Sunday Service: Psalms of Ascent (Songs of the Pilgrams) - Pastor Jeff Young
    2026/02/16

Life often feels like an uphill climb filled with challenges that seem impossible to overcome. The ancient Israelites understood this reality and sang Psalms of Ascent as they journeyed together to worship in Jerusalem. These weren't easy trips but required commitment, endurance, and community. In our modern culture of convenience and instant gratification, we often avoid difficult paths that lead to spiritual growth. However, being a pilgrim means actively moving toward a destination with purpose, not remaining complacent after salvation. Just as you can't see spectacular mountain views without hiking the trail, you can't experience God's best without being willing to take on challenges. When facing seemingly impossible mountains, Psalm 121 reminds us that our help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth, not from the mountain itself.

  • Sunday Service: Psalms of Ascent (Going on Pilgrimage) - Pastor Chris Reyes
    2026/02/08

Life often leaves us feeling spiritually lost and disconnected, like we're living in a desert. As believers, we are pilgrims on a journey toward spiritual growth, but this requires honest self-assessment of our spiritual condition. We must ask ourselves difficult questions about whether we're connected or isolated, authentic or fake, growing or stagnant. Modern culture's emphasis on instant gratification makes spiritual growth more challenging, as it requires patience and delayed rewards. Psalm 120 shows us that spiritual journeys often begin in distress, not comfort. The key is bringing our honest struggles to God in prayer, remembering His past faithfulness, and choosing to keep moving forward spiritually regardless of circumstances.

  • Sunday Service: True Riches (Pt.2) - Pastor Manny Mejia
    2026/02/03

Many Christians struggle with money because they follow the American cycle of consume, lack, and fear rather than God's way. The typical approach leads to anxiety and a scarcity mindset, while God calls us to give first and trust His provision. Jesus warns against greed in the parable of the rich fool, who stored up wealth for himself instead of being rich toward God. God blesses us not primarily to increase our standard of living, but our standard of giving. True financial freedom comes from living below our means, creating a budget, and actively looking for ways to meet others' needs through generous giving.

  • Sunday Service: True Riches - Pastor Jeff Young
    2026/01/26

What does the Bible say about true wealth?
In a culture obsessed with money and success, Scripture offers a radically different definition of riches. True wealth isn’t measured by what’s in your bank account, but by godliness paired with contentment.

Many Americans are weighed down by debt while chasing financial security, yet the Bible warns that the love of money leads to spiritual harm. The Apostle Paul reminds us that we brought nothing into this world—and we can take nothing out—so real riches are found in trusting God, not accumulating more.

Jesus highlights this truth in the story of the widow’s mite, showing that God values the heart behind our giving far more than the amount given. Whether you’re struggling financially or experiencing abundance, we’re all called to hold money with open hands, trust God with our resources, and live with contentment rooted in Him.

  • Sunday Service: Renewal Through Prayer & Fasting - Pastor Chris Reyes
    2026/01/19

Prayer and fasting are pathways to spiritual renewal that strengthen our relationship with God. We were created in God's image for intimate fellowship with Him, not just obedience. When we become disconnected from God, we often struggle with compartmentalization—living differently in various contexts despite our beliefs. Prayer offers multiple benefits: it builds relationship with God, restores our humanity, brings wisdom, cleanses us from hurt and sin, and transforms our minds. Developing a daily prayer discipline helps us stay connected to God like branches to a vine, enabling us to naturally produce spiritual fruit in our lives.

  • Sunday Service: A Worthy Life - Pastor Jeff Young
    2026/01/12

Jesus calls us to live a worthy life that reflects the high price He paid for our salvation. Through His letters to the seven churches in Revelation, we see the dangers of spiritual lukewarmness and compromise that threaten our faith. The church in Laodicea thought they were rich but were actually spiritually poor, while churches like Pergamum and Thyatira struggled with tolerating sin. In contrast, the faithful churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia persevered through suffering and persecution by keeping God's Word and never denying His name. Living worthily means inviting Jesus into every area of our lives, maintaining biblical boundaries while loving others, and growing in spiritual maturity while keeping childlike faith.
