Are you a Sabbath School teacher looking for practical help to teach more effectively?
In this episode of Leader’s Lesson, we focus on Lesson 8: “Having Faith,” part of the Adult Sabbath School Bible Study Guide for this quarter.
This lesson covers the week of May 16 to May 22 and will be taught in Sabbath School on May 23.
This week addresses a foundational spiritual question:
What does real faith look like, and how can it grow stronger in our relationship with God?
Based on key biblical passages, this lesson explores faith as more than a feeling or vague optimism. It highlights faith as a response to God’s grace, a decision to trust Him even when we cannot see clearly, and a vital part of walking with Him every day. Through examples such as the Canaanite woman, the centurion, and the great faith chapter of Hebrews 11, this lesson points teachers and class members to the deeper meaning of having faith and even to the “faith of Jesus.”
In this episode, you will learn:
- How to start your class with a strong and engaging introduction
- The main spiritual focus of the lesson and how to emphasize it
- Key questions to guide meaningful class discussion
- How to address doubt, weak faith, and the desire for signs
- Practical ways to help your class understand, exercise, and grow in faith
Leader’s Lesson is designed to help teachers move beyond simply covering the material and instead lead meaningful, transformative conversations.
Next Step: Listen, take notes, and walk into your class prepared.
