概要

Legally Friends is the weekly podcast where brother-in-law Zach and sisters-in-law Emily and Amy get real about what it's actually like to be family by law. From navigating family vacations and sibling rivalries to dissecting celebrity drama through a family lens, no topic is off limits. Each episode features their signature "Judge & Jury" segment where they give their verdicts on listener-submitted in-law dilemmas — think mother-in-laws who wear white to weddings, husbands who vacation solo with their moms, and everything in between. It's funny, honest, and surprisingly relatable. New episodes drop weekly on Sunday evening.

  • Episode 8: A Stranger Sent Amy a Celebrity's Phone Number
    2026/03/08

It's just Amy and Zach this week — Emily's off at a very important design meeting that somehow consumed her entire day. Amy steps up to do the intro for the first time, and the nerves are real.
First up: Amy's dating world continues to deliver. A listener DM'd her the phone number of a certain Fox News anchor she matched with on Raya (who never wrote back). Should they call it? Zach thinks yes. Amy's terrified. Verdict: they're calling from Zach's phone and reporting back next week. Meanwhile, Amy drops hints about a mystery trip to Arizona this weekend, and Zach lays out her entire dating cycle for the world to hear — overshare, family pressure, ghosting streak, repeat.
The life updates keep rolling: Amy's first barrel race is in three weeks and she's nervous to go full speed (Zach confesses he was scared of horses as a kid and had to be walked around while his younger cousins rode solo). Zach and Megan are headed to Hawaii after their Mexico trip got cancelled due to the cartel situation at Puerto Vallarta. And the Dallas house hunt is heating up — their dream house sold in five days, and Emily and Rachel keep sending $10 million Highland Park listings like it's no big deal.
Then the crew dives into listener Q&A: Has the podcast caused family drama? (Shannon's anxiety is real.) Why does Amy call her parents Michael and Shannon? Who's the worst at keeping secrets? (Everyone.) And which couple would Amy live with for a year? The answer involves Dallas dating prospects.
Finally, two Judge & Jury dilemmas: a couples-only trip to Mexico that got hijacked by the entire extended family, and a mother-in-law who tells the grandkids "don't tell mom" every single visit. Both hit close to home — literally.

Episode 7 of Legally Friends features special guest Sarajane (SJ) Warner — Utah-based influencer, skincare expert, and content creator with over 110K followers. The crew shares horror stories from dance competition weekend in Vegas, then goes head-to-toe revealing every cosmetic procedure they've each had done — no secrets. SJ breaks down the CO2 laser that got her 29 million views, shares why she'd never do lipo again, and reads some of her meanest DMs. They also dive into Utah's beauty standards, the double standard women face online, and tackle a Judge & Jury about an 18-year-old sister-in-law whose schedule controls the entire family.

  • Episode #6: Amy's Dating App Nightmares, Lip Filler Gone Wrong & Our Worst Date Stories
    2026/02/22

Episode 6 is here! We debrief on the fallout from last week — Zach and Rachel had a three-hour phone call and we're sharing where things landed. Emily shows up with the most swollen lips ever and we get into the full lip filler experience. Then we dive deep into Amy's dating life: Raya, Hinge, a Fox News crush she's calling out by name, and the realities of online dating and safety. We each share our worst date stories (Emily's is genuinely scary, Amy's involves bare feet at dinner, and Zach's… you just have to hear it). Plus pop culture takes on Tell Me Lies, The Traitors, and yearning being back in 2026. We close with a stacked Judge & Jury: going into debt for a wedding, dealing with a chronically late mother-in-law, and the bad Instagram photo debate. Send us your stories!
