  • Mary Lou Bohn – President, Titleist Golf Balls

    Viewed by many as the most influential woman in the game of golf, Mary Lou joined Acushnet Company in 1987 as a marketing assistant. Nearly 30 years later, she was named President of Golf Balls in 2016. Throughout her career, she has helped Titleist reach and maintain its standard as the leading golf ball in the market.

    Bohn grew up on the South Shore, and caddied for her father, Massachusetts golf legend Fordie Pitts who competed in five U.S. Amateurs and three U.S. Senior Open’s. She teamed up with her father to win a pair of Father-Daughter Massachusetts Championships. Mary Lou’s family established a named endowed scholarship with the Ouimet Fund in honor of her father in 2011.

  • Matt Adams – Fairways of Life

    Matt Adams is a Golf Channel and PGA Tour personality, New York Times best-selling author, and host of Fairways of Life. A Rhode Island native and Providence College graduate, Matt started the Fairways of Life show on radio while serving as the general manager of Newport National Golf Club. It was picked up by SiriusXM and now airs on Golf Channel and across the globe on the show’s digital channels.

    Adams recently joined the PGA Tour’s live coverage on ESPN+ and has hosted broadcasts from every Major Championship as well as multiple Ryder Cups. One of the most versatile voices in the golf media, he has interviewed virtually every living legend of the game and was called “the best interviewer in golf” by former Ouimet Banquet Honoree Gary Player.

  • Jerry Trupiano – Former Red Sox Broadcaster

    Jerry Trupiano spent nearly 15 years in the Red Sox radio booth and called the team’s historic 2004 World Series victory, ironically in his hometown of St. Louis. Trupiano attended St. Louis University and grew up learning from legendary Cardinals broadcaster Jack Buck. Prior to his time in Boston, Jerry was a sports talk show host for 14 years in Houston and did play-by-play for all of the city’s professional teams.

    Early in his radio career, he gave a University of Houston student named Jim Nantz his first job in sports broadcasting. Years later at the 2021 Ouimet Banquet, Nantz surprised Trupiano by naming his endowed Ouimet Scholarship in honor of his mentor and longtime friend. In the Ouimet tradition, Jerry has continued paying it forward, teaching young broadcasters at the University of Houston and locally at Dean College.

    In addition to its highly popular Prism rangefinder, Pinned has introduced several styles of speakers for both golf and lifestyle. The brand recently unveiled its newest product, a GPS tablet called The Caddie, which won the Best New Product Award at the PGA Show in Florida.

    Michael Breed is one of the most dynamic and entertaining golf teachers and media personalities in the game. A longtime PGA teaching professional in Connecticut and New York, Michael has been recognized as a Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor for over 20 years and was named the 2012 National Teacher of the Year by the PGA of America.

    He hosts “A New Breed of Golf” weekday mornings on Sirius XM PGA Tour Radio and an equally popular digital instruction series with the same name on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. CBS has used Breed’s insight during its PGA coverage and for “Masters on the Range” at Augusta National, where he began his career an assistant pro.

    Golf lover and Michigan native Rob ‘Hardy’ Poole has been on the air with 98.5 The Sports Hub since the station was founded in 2009. Just over a year ago, he joined the station’s morning drive show to create one of the most engaging and popular tandems in Boston, Toucher & Hardy.

    He also hosts the Sports Hub Golf Club, a long-running weekend golf show featuring the professional golf scene, local course spotlights, and game improvement tips. Prior to the Sports Hub, Hardy spent the first 15 years of his radio career as a rock DJ and still hosts for the Lithium station on Sirius XM.

  • Kai Sato – Caddieshack to Corner Office

    Kai Sato is a friend of the Ouimet Fund who started Caddieshack to Corner Office, a website and podcast which features successful business leaders who got their start as caddies. Kai was a caddie at prestigious Bel-Air Country Club while studying business at USC.

    He is the founder of Kaizen Reserve, which serves as an investment advisor to family offices and corporations, helping align their existing assets with startups. He is also the founding partner of Vintage Capital Investments, which focuses on technology and media investments in sports.

    Before his transition to venture capital, Kai cofounded FieldLevel, a social network dedicated to sports recruiting and participated as an entrepreneur in the inaugural Los Angeles Dodgers Accelerator. He works closely with accelerators across multiple industries and is also Hatch's Entrepreneur-In-Residence, actively mentoring its cohort companies.

    Kai cares deeply about organizations like ours, helping disadvantaged youth through education. He created Caddyshack to Corner Office in part to teach young people about how golf can dramatically change their lives.

  • Claire Rogers – Director of Social Media, Golf.com

    Claire Rogers grew up just down the road from Wannamoisett Country Club in East Providence, Rhode Island. Her golf-crazed family used to host players for the prestigious Northeast Amateur at Wannamoisett, including a future major champion who you’ll hear about in the episode.

    She went on to attend Boston College for psychology, but eventually pivoted to golf content, interning at Golf Digest before being hired full-time as a social media coordinator in 2018. Since 2020, Claire has been with Golf.com, where she covers the biggest names and events from both the men’s and women’s professional tours.

    Claire recently started a popular interview series called the Scoop, where she shares ice cream and chats golf with popular personalities from the game, including Max Homa, Nelly Korda, Brooks Koepka, Rose Zhang and Fred Couples.
