このコンテンツについて

Do you remember the “kid’s table” when at family holidays or dinners? I do and that is right where I feel I am at, still, in my walk with God. Some look at it as being “ankle deep” in our walk. Either way, I am at a point where I am tired of being in this state. Every Monday at 6 am I will release short episodes where I am going to share what stood out to me in my time with God. At the end of the day it comes down to where scripture meets your story. You may be in the same spot as I am or you are sitting at the adult table or may need to join the kids table. Either option is ok, these episodes are to start the conversation as to “what stands out to you?” and not only grow myself but help others grow as well. "Here's the thing - leaving the kid's table isn't a one-time decision. It's a daily choice. And every day you choose to go deeper, I'll be right here with you."Copyright 2025 Chad Sherlock キリスト教 スピリチュアリティ 個人的成功 聖職・福音主義 自己啓発

  • When God Takes Away Your Strength
    2025/12/15
Episode Title: When God Takes Away Your StrengthEpisode Description:

Imagine finally getting the recognition you've been working for—someone you admire says "nothing will be impossible for you"—and in the next breath, they take away the very thing that made you successful. That's exactly what happened at the Tower of Babel. But here's what most people miss: God wasn't against their success. He was against their "why." And that distinction changes everything about how we chase our dreams today.

    In This Episode:
    • The confusing moment when God compliments humanity then scatters them
    • Why God cared more about their motivation than their achievement
    • The four words that revealed the fatal flaw: "make a name for ourselves"
    • What the Tower of Babel teaches us about ambition, unity, and misplaced focus
    • How to check if your goals are building your name or pointing to God's

    Key Quote:

"God did not care that they were successful at building or working together. God's why in taking away this ability was found in their heart—they wanted to make a name for themselves."

  • The Mighty Hunter and Your 9-5
    2025/12/08
Episode Title: The Mighty Hunter and Your 9-5Episode Description:

What if the most boring chapter in Genesis holds the secret to transforming how you feel about Monday mornings? A unexpected name in a genealogy list—yes, the same Nimrod from Bugs Bunny cartoons—reveals something most of us miss about our daily grind. It's not about finding your dream job or doing what you love. It's about who's watching while you work. And that changes everything.

    In This Episode:
    • The cartoon insult that accidentally preserved a biblical truth about excellence
    • Why working "before the LORD" isn't about being religious at work—it's something deeper
    • What happens when you stop seeing your job as just a paycheck
    • The question that could turn your least favorite workday into something you never expected
    • A morning habit that puts your 9-5 in completely different hands

    Key Quote:

"What if you chose to do this job 'before the LORD'? Work to be the living definition of your job so that God receives all the glory in what we do."
