She is fluent in Mandarin, Japanese, and English, and has also earned the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N1).She studied Sport Sciences at the University of Tsukuba, and sports continue to play an important role in her life today.What impressed me most was her commitment to lifelong learning. これまでに、イギリスへの1年間の留学、在日米国領事館でのインターン・勤務経験、さらに外資系アパレルブランドでアシスタントマネジャーを務められるなど、幅広いご経験をお持ちです。

Episode 16: Eri Taguchi

(Samford University JOI Coordinator)

In this episode, we welcomed Eri Taguchi, a 22nd cohort coordinator of the Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI). She is currently working at Samford University in Alabama as a JOI Coordinator.

Eri has a wide range of international and professional experiences, including studying abroad in the UK for one year, interning and working at the U.S. Consulate in Japan, and serving as an assistant manager at an international fashion brand.

I was truly inspired by her initiative, sense of responsibility, and ability to build meaningful connections wherever she goes.

He has also served as a Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer in the Dominican Republic and Zambia.
