This is a time in the Bible where Jacob is now the chosen one to ‘carry the torch’ of God's covenant that he made with Abraham, and Jacob is looking for a wife.

This jam-pcked story of Laban's two daughters, Leah and Rachel, their maids, and the role they play in fulfilling God’s covenant is quite captivating. Relatives deceiving each other, a sister being barren, and then bearing children, to hiding idols - A lot happens. And God is right in the middle of it all!
