In this episode of Front Porch Chats, we hear from recent graduates of the EMPOWER Youth Leadership Program from Talbot County as they reflect on a year of growth, leadership development, and discovering new opportunities for their future.
Through EMPOWER, these students gained hands-on experiences that helped them build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and better understand the importance of leadership in their schools and communities. The program challenged them to step outside their comfort zones and see how even small actions can create meaningful change.
From personal development sessions to learning about community service, cooperative education, and economic growth, each part of the program gave students a broader perspective on the world around them and the role they can play in shaping it.
Students also discuss memorable highlights from the year, including learning more about their own strengths, meeting community leaders, and gaining practical skills that will help them succeed in college, careers, and beyond.
Join us as we celebrate the next generation of Talbot County leaders and hear how EMPOWER is helping them turn potential into purpose.
