In this episode we consider what we may view as two minor events in the life of a great prophet, Elisha. The first one is recorded in 2 Kings 4 where a widow is desperate for financial relief. The second one is found in 2 Kings 6 where one of the sons of the prophets panics when he loses a borrowed tool. We can likely relate to both of these as they are common circumstances. As we go through them, we will draw out practical lessons to help build our faith and confidence in the Lord and His care.

In this episode we continue a look at the life of Elisha the prophet – his life and events involving him. We will examine 2 Kings 3 where three allied kings go on a punitive campaign against a neighboring king. There is trepidation by the faithless king of Israel, but confidence in the faithful king of Judah and the Lord's prophet, Elisha. The record of the events in 2 Kings 3 are both amazing and shocking and worthy of our attention.

In this episode we examine some of the miracles associated with Elisha. These signs and wonders may be easy to miss in the overall record of his life as they are briefly mentioned; commonly only 2 or 3 verses. However, they reveal his credentials from God and help us understand the nature of his work among Israel. We will consider God's power to heal the land and how He can provide abundantly, as well as the Lord's judgment against His enemies.
