I'm starting a new segment today that talks about careers, jobs, and how those things help us develop deeper life skills as we age. Brenda always knew she wanted to own a business. She's a successful hairstylist/cosmetologist. After being in the industry for 30 years, she's about to change gears and become a mortician and funeral director.
Along the way she's had to learn some hard lessons on how to communicate with people in an effective way. She talks about some of her struggles, some of her success, and what her journey has been like. Under it all her desire for wanting to make a difference in the world has led her on a successful and rewarding path through life.
