What we're experiencing right now isn’t just someone being a shifty politician. This isn’t just some president saying that he’s “evolved on the issues.” It’s not just ideological drift. It's not just an apathetic leader. If you ask me, this rug pull, bait and switch, 180 degree flip of the MAGA platform is carefully crafted.

It’s said that truth is stranger than fiction, but in this instance it might be the same thing. Call it predictive programming or just call it the elite stealing an idea to accomplish their plan. President Trump is the real life version of the 1976 movie Network. Once you see the similarities, you won’t be able to ignore them.

While everyone is busy yapping about two cronies abusing their power, everyone is ignoring a salient threat. Trump indicting Letitia James is a juicy case of revenge, but it’s mere theater. It’s just another one of those events that used to keep the news cycle fresh every day and viewers titillated. It’s a little nugget everyday to distract you from paying attention to what’s happening abroad and what will make its way into your pocket sooner rather than later.

The United Kingdom just announced digital ID’s. These won’t be optional; anyone wanting to work in the UK will need to have one. It won’t be mandatory for people to carry their digital ID nor will they be asked to produce it… for now. The new digital ID stored on an individual’s phone. It will include a person's name, date of birth, nationality or residency status and a photo.

While everyone is arguing over the implications of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, everyone is missing a much bigger problem. Making Kirk an idol won’t make us more of Christian nation - it will make us less of one. Regardless of whether you think he was some great guy or not, he is just that - a guy. This is not a revival. The right has not found God, they’ve found a grift. Unfortunately, millions of Americans who claim to be Christians are propping this grift up while they bow down and idolize a man they didn’t know and who was merely an internet commentator. These people are supporting both false prophets and idolatry in one fell swoop. For a party obsessed with making Christian Nationalism a synonym for America they sure are quick to abandon God and replace him with the political savior of the moment. This is idolatry in 2025.

Trump destroyed the White House rose garden put in by Jackie Kennedy. Why? Because he could and he wanted to build an area where the elite in charge wine and dine on the taxpayer dollar. His first event was for the tech elite, but it had to be moved inside because of rain. Take a look at who’s not at the table? That’s right - any normal person. Those pesky peasants. The serfs. If you don’t have a seat at the table do you think your interests are represented? It’s ironic how the White House is referred to as the people’s house when in reality it’s merely a haven for oligarchs. Then he had a redo and invited Republican lawmakers to attend the Rose Garden Club’s first event. It was attended by every bootlicking, brown nosing, nepo baby piece of !@#$ you can imagine. It’s a glorified country club for creeps. Gavin Newsom aptly named it predator patio, but beyond the obvious cringy nature of this event, why isn’t anyone screaming "I’m mad as hell and not going to make it anymore."

Shockingly, the “pry it from my cold dead hands” side of the aisle has found someone that would like to pry firearms from - trans individuals. The DOJ is considering banning trans individuals from buying firearms - a move that is so stupid that even the NRA is against it- and they endorsed this guy three times for president.

People inside the DOJ have told The Post that some members believe this draconian action can be accomplished as a follow up on Trump’s executive order barring military service by transgender people. How would he do this? It’s simple. One option has him formally declaring people who identify as transgender as mentally ill, thus barring them from owning a firearm. Politicians are emotional vultures. And this is what Trump is doing right now - preying on people’s outrage at a school shooting that claimed the lives of two young children.

Trump recently said that he’s trying to get into heaven - hoping that ending the war in Ukraine will be his ticket.

But here’s the funny thing (or should I say not so funny thing), salvation isn’t dependent on works. According to the Holy Bible, it’s a free gift of eternal life. All you have to do is believe that Jesus died on the cross and covered our sins. The hallmark verse of Christianity is John 3:16.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

But where are all the Christians to point this out? Where is the evangelical right that he has such a hold on? Where are the right-wing Christian pundits to correct the record? Even his vice president seems to think that heaven is earned.

With the National Guard rolling out troops and humvees across our capital, it’s a question worth asking. When the federal or state government declares martial law it’s the complete suspension of all local laws, civil authority, and local judiciaries. The commanding officer substitutes temporary laws and military tribunals. The Military commander has virtually unlimited authority to govern an area. Surprisingly, the Constitution doesn’t define nor does it specify who can declare martial law. Despite this, federal and state governments had declared martial law more than 60 times. In fact, SCOTUS has held that states can declare martial law, but has never said a president can.
